We picked up a few of these on our recent travels to Japan, and wanted to share them with our local customers. These treats are from the brand Doggyman’s “Mutenka Ryouhin” product line, which translates to “Additive-Free, Superior Goods”, and do not contain any artificial additives, preservatives, or colors.
These gently baked “bolo” biscuits have a light, crisp texture and are made with 8 different Japanese vegetables: carrot, pumpkin, spinach, purple potato, mugwort, barley grass, mulberry leaf, and kale. They also feature both oligosaccharides (a prebiotic / gut-boosting carbohydrate source found naturally in fruits and veggies) and added calcium, making them as beneficial as they are delicious. Great as a training treat or meal topper!
