Here’s something we can guarantee you didn’t think you’d see on the internet today… DOG FRIENDLY CHAMPORADO!
For those who don’t already know, champorado is traditional Filipino breakfast dish made of sweet chocolate rice porridge, topped with condensed milk and (optionally) dried fish. It may seem strange at first, but it’s really no different than a bowl of chocolate overnight oats (minus the fish, presumably).
Our limited edition “Champawrado” is a dog friendly version that’s made with plain boiled rice, carob powder, and goat milk kefir, plus an optional dried sardine. You can serve this sweet treat as a meal topper, enrichment toy filler, or just right out of bowl!
Available in an 8 oz. container.
SERVING & STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Our champawrado is made fresh and can be served at any temperature; be sure to test heat level before serving to your dog warmed. Not a complete daily meal; use as a treat, topper, or occasional meal replacement.
Champawrado should be stored in fridge immediately and consumed within 2-3 days for optimal freshness. For longer storage, keep in freezer for up to 6 months and thaw as needed.
